I used this product my first day home from the hospital and at least 3 times a week ever since. My baby is 16 weeks old and it’s safe to say she’s never scratched herself or had to wear mittens. The nail file is quiet and she likes looking at the light/doesn’t fuss at all. Amazing quality for the price.

I had no idea how difficult it would be to cut a baby’s nails OR fast they grew!!!! Like every other day he was scratching the crap out of me and his poor forehead. This nail trimmer is amazing and we use it seriously all the time. We got it when my son was 2.5 months old and he doesn’t mind it one bit. It’s also super safe - like he grabs it all the time and half the time it’s on his finger skin as I’m trying to get his nails and it doesn’t hurt him at all. Definitely a baby product you NEED

I love this nail trimmer! It's really fast and easy to use. In the beginning I used to only use it on my newborn while she is sleeping but now I've gotten more comfortable using it and am able to give her a quick file down while she's sitting in my lap watching.

Used on my newborn baby girl. Super gentle! I was terrified to file her nails but she was destroying her face and not all her outfits had mittens. Highly recommend! My husband and I have both trimmed her nails with this and it doesn't even wake her up.

This nail filer is really good! I used a manual one for my first baby and it was hard to control and takes too long. With the electric one I usually just trim his finger nails when feeding him. He doesn't object to it, and its gentle enough it won't hurt him even if I accidentally file his soft finger tips. I also use the other filing heads on myself, trimming nails and cuticles. Very pleased with my purchase.

This nail drimmal is superb when filing down you babies nails. No cutting of nails or the risk of catching your babies skin. I've only used the first pad the buffer and both are great. I've had to buy replacement pads as if the paper is already coming off from continuous use. While my husband feeds our soon I can do both hands and feet before he's able to finish. The little one enjoys the spa treatment

Bought this to use on our baby's nails as I am too nervous to use any of the clippers. This was absolutely perfect. So safe to use, quick, and easy. My little one always wanted to scratch her face and her nails grow so fast! Definitely a must have with a baby!

My son will let me do his nails with this and he actually enjoys it! I was never able to cut or file his nails without a fuss and with this product he likes to watch me do his nails. I am able to use it often and he giggles when I do! Life saver!! Well worth the price.

Very easy to use but unless young baby is asleep, you may need second person to help hold baby's hand steady. Does a much better job, more quickly and safely than using a manual baby nail clipper or a nail file.

I bought a cheaper product originally and it stopped working so I replaced it with the Tiny Hands Baby Nail File. It is easy to find replacement pads but they are really well-made and last much longer than the filing pads from other nail files.

My 2 month old baby girl smiled throughout her manicure with this nail file - no tears! Much easier than clipping her nails. There are different files and speeds so you can choose what is right for your child. It is easy to use and change the files on and off. This is a must have for new moms! Will be recommending this to all my friends and family for their children.

After my husband and I both nicked our preemie newborn's delicate fingertips with traditional baby clippers, we were terrified to try again. (I cried 10 times more than our daughter when I saw the blood.) But she is very prone to scratch her face and finds mittens uncomfortable, so we had to find a solution. Our pediatric dermatologist recommended an electric file, and our world began anew. This product is truly a lifesaver. I tested it on myself before trying on our daughter, and it's a feather-soft touch. I've used it to trim her nails four times now (always while she is sleeping; highly recommended to minimize wiggles), and am beyond pleased. It files her nails down effectively without distributing her one bit. Not only is it quiet, but I tested it on myself first, and you can barely feel it. The only drawback is that can be a little difficult to file down the outer corners of her nails, but it's achievable with patience and definitely helps that you can reverse the direction that the file spins. The light is helpful, too although the angle is slightly off, so it's more useful for an initial inspection of the nail than for providing illumination when you're filing. Regardless, I wish someone had told us about this product before we tried the clippers... It will definitely be the first item we buy for all our friends future baby showers!

I LOVE that this comes with adult filing ends as well! My baby isn't expected to be here for another month (GAH) but I took this out of the package to test and get used to it. It's SO EASY to use and I am very excited to use this as others have, when their baby is asleep at night. My sister's 1 year old gave her such a hard time with regular clippers, but he likes the feeling of this on his fingers! Makes a mom's life SO EASY! Thank you!

I run a breastfeeding group on Facebook with hundreds of moms who are always worried about clipping babies nails... rightfully so because it's a terrible experience for both mom/dad and baby! This is the single best purchase I have made in the 5 months since I had my daughter. Every new mom needs this! I accidentally cut my daughters finger when I was trying to trim her nails... it felt like the worst day of my life lol! She was screaming, got little streaks of blood on her adorable pajamas, it was just st heartbreaking. So my husband insisted he is better with precision so he would clip them the next time. This is a quality product that fulfills its promise. I am able to quickly and safely file down my baby's nails without risking cutting her. The files are of good quality and last through multiple uses.

I was afraid of clipping/biting my newborn's fingernails so I purchased this product & brought it to the hospital in my "go bag." My baby was born with super long claws and scratched the heck out of me when they placed her on my chest! We actually used this file in the hospital before discharge and it was magical. I was able to sand down her fingernails and she slept through the whole thing. I tried it on my own skin first, and it was gentle enough to not hurt even if I accidentally bumped it on my skin (or hers), yet strong enough to shave down those baby nails. It saved us from using mitts on her (which she would have hated because she loves eating her hands). I still use it (she's a few month old now) at least once every few days because her nails still get sharp. LOVE this product!!! (just make sure to use the INFANT sandpaper head).
